Rapper of Group Migos named Takeoff is Dead at 28

After an early morning shooting in Houston has been confirmed one dead on the scene. Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, was one-third of the rap trio Migos alongside his uncle, Quavo, and cousin once removed, Offset.

Law enforcement sources, and multiple witnesses, say a fatal incident went down shortly after 2:30 AM. Cops got the call for a man shot at a bowling alley called 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston.

It was initially claimed that fellow rapper Quavo was also shot at the event, but have since confirmed that this was not the case. It was an isolated incident. Police say 2 other people were shot and were taken to the hospital in private vehicles. It’s unclear what their conditions are.

Multiple sources are reporting that the shooting allegedly broke out over a dice game, with social media photos from the event showing Takeoff wearing a white shirt with a pair of black pants. Photos showed a man matching the description of the rapper lying motionless on the ground. And, social media post began to fly in.
