Teen Charged with Murder Killed Woman While Visiting Her Son’s Gravesite

Christian Lamar Weston charged five months after the death of Yolanda N’Gaojia

The Bell County district attorney’s office charged 17-year-old Christian Lamar Weston with murder, five months after the death of Yolanda N’Gaojia. He was “shooting” at people visiting the gravesite, which resulted in N’Gaojia’s death. She died two hours after the shooting.

On March 22, N’Gaojia, was at a cemetery in Killeen. According to a spokesperson for the police department she and a second person were shot. The second victim was released at the scene after being treated. Ofelia Miramontez said, “The suspect went to the cemetery and specifically shot at the individuals that were there visiting a gravesite.”

Christian Weston is being held without bond and was arraigned on another unrelated charge of carrying a weapon without a license.

What a sad world we live in when you can not even mourn your family/friends while visiting their gravesite!
